60 Seconds with Jacob Pope
Where are you from?
"Born in Amarillo, TX, raised just north of Atlanta, GA."
Who are you besides a guy who wants to row across the Pacific?
"I'm a second year student at the University of Georgia studying Management Information Systems. I'm passionate about health, and live as active of a lifestyle as I can within the bounds of my hemophilia. I spend as much time as I can outdoors, whether its relaxing or letting loose through mountain biking or tennis. I got hooked on big adventures after an impromptu cross-country road-trip that led to two of my best friends and me backpacking across Yellowstone, and I can't wait for more."
"On a given day, a given circumstance, you think you have a limit. And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit, and you think, 'Okay, this is the limit.' And so you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further. With your mind power, your determination, your instinct, and the experience as well, you can fly very high."

What will you miss the most?
"More than anything, I'll miss my friends and family."
